bought washer on 1/4/19 after a year and half control board went out, manufacturer defect, luckily i had bought a extended warranty through the place of purchase, it was replaced on 7/6/2020 with a brand new washer and now here we are a year and half later and the new washer started by not spinning all the water out, and now will not come on at all. makes a humming noise

i built a custom home 2 1/2 years ago. i purchased all samsung appliances because they were so pretty, and i have been so happy with my television. never again will i purchase another samsung appliance though. every single one of them has had issues and it has been a nightmare for me. this washer gets off-balance constantly when you do a heavy load or linens. even if you load it as a doughnut shape as they recommend, it's still gets off-balance. then i am ringing it out with my hands which is really hard to do. and having to dry each piece manually over the shower. it's been a nightmare! never again!

will not fill water past half way. big tub so if you fill it with clothes some will be out if the water. if you was cottons that absorb water or bedding,which it has a setting: the machine will jump shake and throw codes.. you need to sit there during spin to constantly reposition clothes. now it sounds like a blown out main bearing. i am 1 person with a few clothes and the machine cannot handle it. stay away

the samsung self clean washer wa45n3050aw/a4, purchased in 2020. stopped working at jan 2022.
the washer power on but the cycle selection button is not work , the other buttons have all the indicate lights on, with "eco warm" showing blinking light .
samsung suggested me the repair for more than $350! the washer was less than 2 years!

we bought this samsung washer in june 2020 from best buy. it was professionally installed and leveled. we started noticing black flakes in the tub. i removed the agitator and found mold and rust inside the machine. judging from the amount of mold, it hasn't been working correctly for a long time.

we haven't had the washer for 6 months and the cold water inlet valve has failed. can't use it due to the fact that the cold water steadily runs. even with the power unplugged the cold water keeps running. really dislike it

it washes well so far, though it has very basic functions. hopefully these reviews can be updated as i have only had it for a couple weeks. it has not had any problems so far, just mediocre performance for the price. spin is kind of weak and leaves clothes damper than my last unit. capacity is very good though. my big complaint though is the insanely long, annoying, and loud song that plays when a load is finished, there is no way to turn it off on this model which makes this purchase a major regret. why was a full 30 seconds necessary? why not have a function to disable it? if everything else was more than meh it would be okay, but it feels like a big l.

machine is less than two years old and stopped working. it doesnt go through the entire cycle and beeps constantly. support is basically useless as they send you a link to troubleshooting that you can find yourself. when that doesnt work (because chances are you tried that before even contacting them). they take your information, lets you know samsung only has a 1 year warranty and tells you someone will contact you so you can pay a technician to come out and look at it. after paying $1500 for the set less than two years ago. i will never own another samsung product and i will actively steer all of ny family and friends away from any samsung products.

i was excited when i got my samsung washer but about 7 months after i bought it, it began to stop mid cycle sometimes between wash cycle and rinse cycle. sometimes between rinse and spin. no rhyme or reason. sometimes it will take three hours to wash a load of clothes. i have started a load before bed and gotten up the next morning to find it stopped on the rinse cycle
very frustrated and disappointed. and i can't find anyone that can repair it.

great washing machine except for when washing a bed spread and sheets. the washer will not go into spin cycle when washing bedding. remove the bed spread, wet. the washer will then go ahead into spin cycle with the remaining sheets. its like the load is to heavy to spin. our wahser is practically new, having only had it for a few months. disappointed, definetly does not live upto the reviews that we read.

We bought this washer about 2 weeks ago. Our old washer just up and died, so we needed a washer right away. We only had a few washer to choose from in our price range, because we needed a washer that was in stock and could be picked up right away. I did some research on the Samsung washer and read mixed reviews, but we needed a washer and this one was in stock. I am pleased to say that I have not had any trouble with this washer. There are a few pleasant surprises. It has a large 4.5 cu. ft. tub.with no agitator. It has detergent, fabric softener, and bleach dispensers. It has many different wash loads that also allow you to customize the water level. One thing that I did notice right away is that it is much quieter than our old top load HE washing machine. I can wash large loads that come out clean and smelling great.

october will be my 6 month anniversary with my washer. i absolutely love it, i'd probably burn all my clothes and become a nude if i had to go back too my out dated, non draining crap of a machine i had previous to this. my first month of ownership i washed everything in my house. i probably did close to 100 loads. i love all the options, especially deep clean. looking to purchase a kitchen set come spring after i remodel and will definitely be getting the dryer as well. or i'll update, new set after i get my new refrigerator!

picked up this pair at a great discount! they where display closeouts so got a 300 buck cut!
my son snd installed the pair so far no issues. like one reviewer stated read the manual!
love the 4.2 cubic foot washer tub! was able to wash my comforter set! love the "auto" water level saves water! the matching dryer also us great big tube! moisture sensor is nice to have! no issues with the match dryer either. i've been with out a washer and dryer for over 3 years, i surely will not miss those overcrowded washateria centers.

I purchased this during the peak of the pandemic because our old washer couldn't handle the additional loads. We've only had this for four months and I am already unimpressed.
The bad:
- The filters are located within the hoses so you have to pull the washer up, disconnect the water and then remove them. Horrible design.
- My whites regularly come out with brown stains on them. We had a repair ticket and were advised to clean the washer regularly with vinegar. I already self clean it before it reaches 20 washes because we have a bunny and a dog. We also run the washer with vinegar, and detergent, regularly as I prefer vinegar to clorox.
- The rinse and spin setting, wish it was just spin as sometimes it doesn't spin out well.
- It doesn't rinse off hair as well as I expected it to. I often have to run loads that are exposed to our dog (sofa cover, blakets) twice.
The good:
- It holds large loads.
- The self clean alert is good for folks that don't normally pay attention to that sort of thing.
Overall this could be a great machine, but the design and performance has been disappointing.

this washer has been working great up til today. today my wife called me and the machine won't fill with hot or cold water. the machine has water going to it and the screens aren't clogged. i went online because i was thinking it would still be under the warrenty but the online service said i had no warrenty. i purchased it on january 4th 2020. in the book it said there was a one year warrenty but online no. so i talked to customer service after waiting for them to answer after 10 minutes. so a man answered i told him what the problem was he said to hold on. i did for 5 minutes then they hung up on me. so the machine and customer service both get one star today don't purchase this machine. i will update this review if anyone emails me back from customer service.

i purchased this washing machine because of my previous experience with a samsung washing machine. however, this machine develops rust below the wash basin. which will come off and stain clothes. i've never experienced this before with any brand of washing machine. after doing some research it appears this is a common issue with this model. i would not recommend this model to anyone!!

all of my previous machines had agitators, and always messed up my blankets and towels. so far, this machine is perfect. i love how quiet it is, i love that i can put a queen size comforter in it and it comes out clean and the edges are still in tact. i have recommended this machine to everyone. i just love it!!!

We bought this washer in Feb 2020 and have had nothing but trouble with it. Half the time the water won't drain out and it smells like an electrical fire is about to start. Have to turn it off and wait about 2 hours for it to cool down. This machine is huge but I can only wash about 6 items at a time to keep it working. Self clean light came on so tried to run it and when it was supposed to run the rinse cycle once again water didn't drain and had to shutdown the machine to let it cool for about 2 to 3 hours then ran spin cycle only. Had service come look at it he did nothing biggest waste of money ever.

purchased brand new from lowes. i only had the washer for 7 weeks when it stopped working properly. i used the economy water fill, but the washer kept filling up to the very top no matter how many clothes i had in it. then it would say that the cycle was complete, but the water had not drained out or spun. i called samsung, they were nice...but its taken almost 2 weeks and i have yet to hear from anyone about when someone will come look at it. im a single mom with three kids, this is a huge inconvience. very frustrated.

i moved and started with nothing and bought because they were in budget! work well! i love i can wash blankets and quilts. the dryer always has to be on timed load or it never gets the clothes dry fully. this dryer u cannot toss anything in to get the wrinkles out i think it makes them worse! haha but none the less it works and im glad to have them and not have to frequent the laundry!!

this is absolutely the worst washer i have ever owned i have had this since january so approximately 5 months. in april it stopped working. it wouldnt make it through the spin cyle it would make the finished sound and unlock as if it was funished but the spin cyle button was still flashing and the clothes were soaked. finally two months later they sent somebody out to fix it.now the washer just doesnt work at all. and trying to get them to come back is a nightmare

we bought this washer and the matching dryer 8/2018 and here we are 6/2020 in the middle of pandemic with a washer that doesn't work. it will stop near the end of a cycle with lights blinking and just sit. sometimes emitting a burning smell. it has done this a few times over the past month and would start back eventually but now it's washed its final load. if you purchase this washer you'd be wise to opt for the extended warranty.
